With all those “mores” also comes more weight continually bashing on the components of an e-bike. In order to overcome the increased forces induced by the technological progression of modern e-bikes, WTB designed the HTZ rims


  • Heavy duty e-bike rims with 20-30% thicker walls in comparison to standard rims

  • I-beam construction adds addtiional strength and durability

  • 4D spoke holes have precised departure angles to align the spoke head and nipple with the hub flange, eliminating binding and lateral loading while also dispersing the load more evenly over a greater area

  • Spoke holes are offset 6mm

  • TCS 2.0 rims deliver WTB's easiest to mount and most reliable tubeless system

  • WTB Solid Strip is included with rim and provides a smooth surface between tire and rim. It also prevents a broken spoke from puncturing the tubeless system and losing air

  • TCS tape is also required for tubeless set up
